Foray Fit: Spring into Action
Today is National Walking Day!
In last month's newsletter, we discussed what might be holding you back as you start exiting the COVID-19 cocoon.
Satirist David Sedaris, we think, won’t have trouble returning to his impressive walking routine. In his 2014 piece “Stepping Out,” he chronicled his escalating obsession with walking:
I look back on the days I averaged only thirty thousand [steps], and think, Honestly, how lazy can you get?
How many steps do you think an average human walks per day? 10,000. As he approached his 60th birthday, Sedaris logged nearly 65,000.
